Welcome to Luminance Loft (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, online store, and related services (the “Services”).

Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, all sales and transactions are made directly between you and Luminance Loft.

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

1. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services or make a purchase.

By using our Services, you represent that:

  • You have legal capacity to enter binding agreements.
  • All information provided is accurate and complete.
  • If acting on behalf of a business, you are authorised to bind that entity.

2. ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITY

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

3. PRODUCTS & AVAILABILITY

All products are subject to availability.

Product descriptions, pricing, and images are provided for informational purposes. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that product appearance on your screen will exactly match the physical product.

We reserve the right to:

  • Limit quantities
  • Discontinue products
  • Refuse orders at our discretion

4. PRICING & PAYMENT

All prices are listed in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS).

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Prices include VAT where applicable.
  • Delivery charges are added at checkout.

We accept mobile money, debit/credit cards, and other methods displayed at checkout.

Orders are accepted only after payment is successfully processed.

5. ORDERS & ACCEPTANCE

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase.

Acceptance occurs only when we confirm dispatch.

We may refuse or cancel orders due to:

  • Stock unavailability
  • Suspected fraud
  • Pricing errors
  • Incomplete payment

If an order is cancelled, you will be notified and refunded where applicable.

6. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Delivery timelines provided at checkout are estimates and not guarantees.

Risk Transfer

  • If delivery is arranged by Luminance Loft, risk passes to you upon confirmed delivery.
  • If you nominate or arrange your own courier, risk passes once the order is handed to that courier. We are not liable for loss, damage, or delay caused by third-party couriers selected by you

We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

7. RETURNS & REFUNDS

All returns and exchanges are governed exclusively by our Refund & Exchange Policy.

We do not accept returns outside the conditions stated in that policy.

8. LOYALTY PROGRAMS & PROMOTIONS

Promotions, discount codes, and loyalty rewards are subject to separate terms communicated at issuance.

We reserve the right to revoke promotional benefits where misuse or abuse is suspected.

Promotions cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on our Services — including logos, product images, text, graphics, branding, and design — is owned or licensed by Luminance Loft.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content without prior written consent.

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

Accessing third-party websites is at your own risk.

11. RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

Luminance Loft is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services.
However, all purchases are made directly with Luminance Loft.

You acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of transactions between you and Luminance Loft, including product quality, delivery, or refunds.

12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Our Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free access
  • That products will meet individual expectations
  • That results from product use will be identical for all users

Customers are responsible for reviewing product ingredients and suitability before use.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Luminance Loft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Use of our Services
  • Purchase of our products
  • Allergic reactions or misuse of products
  • Delivery delays outside our control

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

14. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Luminance Loft and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your:

    Misuse of the Services
    Violation of any law

15. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.

Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.

16. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.

17. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms at any time.

Updated versions will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.

Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
